After Retiring from the U.S. Navy after a career in Explosive Ordnance Disposal, I decided it was time to do what I have been wanting to do since I was a kid working on my family ranch, “Raise Cattle”. A few years later we started delivering our Cattle to the local sale barns in our area and continued to do that for several years. 

Sometimes we would do quite well, but quickly, we started to notice that each time we delivered our cattle we were not doing as well as we had in previous years, to the point where we were starting losing money on our cattle, something had to change for us to be able to continue to raise cattle.

My Wife and I sat down and discussed what we could do to keep our Cattle Ranch relevant. After much consideration we decided to change our Cow/Calf Operation to a Consumer based beef operation, that would supply our Premium Registered Angus and Sim Angus Beef directly to our customers.

For our operation it was simple since we did not have to change our day-to-day operations, we now simply deliver our animals directly to the processor instead of a sale barn. We still raise our cattle the same as we always have, all natural.

With this simple change we would remove the Local Sale Barns completely from the equation.

Our modest 125-acre Cattle Ranch located in Northwest Florida, that raises Cattle specifically for the Consumer, we do not use Hormones or Steroids on our Cattle, there is no regular exposure to Antibiotics or Chemicals on our Ranch either. Our Beef is 100% Organic and that’s the way it has always been since we started.
